Who is responsible?

What data?
Only what you send with the quote form: your name, your phone number, your email (to send you a copy of your request), your municipality, your need, your message and your photos.
Your photos are resized by your browser before they are sent, which removes the hidden information they contain (where they were taken, which device).
What for?
To call you back, prepare a quote and carry out the work if you hire me. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
For how long?
Requests that don't go further are deleted after 12 months; the copies kept by the website's sending service are deleted automatically at that point. For customers, the data needed for invoicing is kept for as long as accounting law requires.
If you message me on WhatsApp, your messages go through WhatsApp (Meta) and are subject to its own privacy rules. I use them the same way as requests sent through the form.
Who sees it?
Only BilElectricité: your data is neither sold nor shared for marketing purposes. The website relies on three service providers, which process it only for this service:
Google (Apps Script and Gmail) receives the request sent by the form, forwards it to BilElectricité and emails you the copy.
Microsoft (Outlook) is the mailbox where BilElectricité receives requests and your replies.
Cloudflare hosts the website and processes visitors' IP addresses to serve the pages and protect the website.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare and Meta (WhatsApp) are US companies: your data may be processed in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which these companies have joined, and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies and no advertising. To know how many people visit it and which pages interest them, it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: a cookie-free tool that builds no visitor profile; it only counts visits and page views. Legal basis: BilElectricité's legitimate interest in improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts are served by the website itself.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to receive a copy of it, or object to its use: bilelec@outlook.be. I reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
